Our Brighton Project is a modern masterpiece. A beautiful new garden, to compliment the client’s beautiful new home.
The abundant landscape construction works undertaken around the entire property, were meticulously orchestrated around a few existing garden elements and an in-ground swimming pool.
Overall the landscaping is clean, with modern simplicity and strong masculine forms. The hardness of the garden is balanced with a sensual water chute, combining to create a dramatic, beautiful timeless entry garden feature that sets the tone and standards for the rest of the home and a real talking point for all guests who visit.
The front entry features large (floating) concrete landings and a long water chute on a ‘wow-factor scale’ ensuring maximum impact and a calming ambiance to the entire front facade. Large granite boulders finish the entry garden elements off perfectly with their jaggered form, standing juxtapose to the clean lines of the hard structures for the perfect, balance of contrast.
The combination of simple and dramatic planting schemes around the property (such as the clean elegant Star jasmine asiaticum as under planting, to the tall slender acer crimson sentry maples) carries through the minimalistic design intent while softening the built form whilst not overpowering it.
