About This Project

Situated in the valleys of the misty mountains of Chiang Mai, Thailand, this impressive family home looks to bring the dreams of a swimming pool to life. Enveloping the warm local conditions, open love and quirky architecture, the house interacts with the entire property, creating the perfect centre stage for the new pool.

With a goal to design a beautiful centre piece, we focus on instantly catching the attention of anyone who moves through the interiors of the home, drawing vision out and into the landscape. Elevated with a spectacular negative edge, this elegant pool presents a large body of water too cool off in, a relaxing beach area, and comfortable bench; a pool which promises something for every member of the family.

Embracing a beautiful, soft green Dehli tile, the pool blends into its natural surroundings, complimented by a palette of architectural concretes, natural timbers, and lush greens of the plantings and lawn.

A four-sided, negative edge spa sits nestled within the pool, completing the area’s stunning allure and ensuring use throughout the seasons.

This design captivates a tropical oasis, balancing the entire block, and perfectly reflecting movement through the space and how it can be most enjoyed. With multiple pockets of space which provide for beautiful experiences, this landscape design is sure to provide you with life long memories and joy.
